Happy September! The kiddo's are back in school, the Bronco's have started playing (and they won!) and I'm thinking about a trip to the mountains to capture some "fall colors" while they last. The opportunities to get some fantastic images - oh so fabulous, and although they don't last long - the fall colors in Colorado really do make for some great photography.
I took a moment this morning to reflect back on the fun experiences I've had shooting weddings over the years. What came to me was the idea of perspective. I came across this image from a wedding I made, using the fisheye lens a few days ago and I have to share it with you all. The fisheye is a great way to shift perspective just a little. Here we are at Arrowhead Golf Course, with a deep blue sky, wispy white clouds and a gentle breeze.
This perspective shift happens in a dramatic - and subtle way. Taking something that seems rather "normal" and turning it just so that it makes one appreciate the moment just a bit more, see life just a bit differently and shift expectations just a bit this way or that.
